​WHO WE ARE

The Consortium is a 501(c)3 non-profit collaborative group representing public agencies, private businesses and individuals interested in addressing the needs of the county’s aging citizens.

Membership:
Membership is open to any interested parties with a common goal of supporting our mission of supporting seniors in the Livingston County, Michigan area. Members can attend and vote at monthly meetings furthering our mission through community events, grants, educational speakers and collaboration.

Community Outreach & Involvement:
Outreach efforts in the Livingston County community include coordinating two annual events for older adults. These events are Senior Celebrations and the Senior Resource Expo.

The Livingston County Consortium on Aging also awards grants to area nonprofits and organizations addressing identified needs for local seniors. 

OUR MISSION

The Livingston County Consortium on Aging provides collaboration, advocacy and communication between agencies and persons concerned with the provision of services to all aging adults. The Livingston County Consortium on Aging’s purpose is to present the care partners of Livingston County with resources that they may not realize are available for their loved one, such as  transportation,  nutritional care, support services, financial counseling, home safety, respite and homecare.
